Turning you into the one who knows how to order at a restaurant, pair food and wine, and be the expert friends turn to, because you will have a wealth of knowledge in the kitchen and out when shopping for ingredients, just because you got some mentoring.
You're not a bad cook. You're a busy human.
Somewhere between the workday and the front door, dinner became the hardest decision of the day.
Sound familiar?
You stand in front of an open fridge at 6:40 p.m. and see nothing, even though it's full.
You're spending real money eating out, and you don't even feel good afterward.
You and your partner both want dinner. Neither of you wants to start it. So it turns into a thing.
The holidays are coming and you're already tired of thinking about them.
You have questions. You just don't have anybody to ask.
Grandma's stuffing. Your dad's chili. The cookies everyone fights over. Let's get them out of your head and onto the page, with pictures, by mid-December.
We gather your family favorites and the stories behind them
I've asked the best chefs the questions. Now I answer yours.
Before I was Chef Marian, I was a radio broadcaster for 15 years. I still walk into kitchens and ask chefs everything. You get the benefit.

Who you'll be working with
Hi, I'm Chef Marian
For more than three decades, people have been calling me Chef Marian🥂. I started as a sous chef on a webinar show. Before that, I was a radio broadcaster doing interviews for 15 years. That gave me enough background to move from sous chef to the one actually explaining how the food got cooked. Within a couple of years, I became the host of that show.
I promise you one thing: if I don't have an answer, I will do the research and give you input from three experts so that you can make up your own mind. I just love doing research. I can't help myself.
